We will be hosting glory conferences, preaching the gospel, healing the sick, ministering to the poor and equipping church leaders. This will be one of the most life-changing weeks of your life!
HOW DO I APPLY?
Our application process is very simple. Just follow the steps below and you're on your way!
For starters, you will place your DEPOSIT to hold your spot on the team.
Space will be limited for this trip, so be sure to register EARLY.
Cutoff deadline for deposits is March 31 or sooner if the team fills up.

Now, simply wait! We will email you to confirm your placement on the team. We will also send periodic information as it becomes available about the trip. This is a good time to begin fund-raising at your local church or through family and friends who may want to support your mission!
Your next and final payment amount is due by April 30. You can pay this now or later. Just don't miss the deadline! Your payment covers all hotels, ground transport, meals and some flights - all but your international airline ticket, which you will buy separately.

This is a "make your own way" trip, which means you will be responsible for purchasing your own airline ticket into Latvia and back home from Russia. Do not buy a ticket yet! It is very important that you wait for us to give you exact arrival/departure details where the team will meet. We will email everything you need to know about this and answer any questions.

When is the trip?
We will arrive in Riga, Latvia July 12 and fly home from St. Petersburg, Russia July 23.
Can I bring a church group?
Pastors and lay leaders may choose to serve as a team leader and bring along a small group from your own local area. Please contact us with any questions about this.
How will we serve?
The main purpose of our trip will be to host glory/equipping meetings with local believers. During the meetings, you will participate in prayer ministry, releasing joy, healing and impartation. Afternoons may include visits to the poor, street ministry and more.
What is the cost?
The total cost is $2,500 plus you will purchase your own air ticket into Latvia and home from Russia. The first deposit ($500) is due upon application no later than March 31. The remainder of the payment ($2,000) is due by April 30. Deposits are non-refundable, but may be applied to someone else if you are unable to go..
Where will we travel?
Our trip begins in Riga, Latvia where we will minister for three days before flying to Tallinn, Estonia. After another three days, we will travel to St. Petersburg, Russia.
What do costs include?
The payments you make to Sons of Thunder will cover all of your ground transportation, hotels, meals and two local flights in and out of Estonia. The costs do not include your international flight to Latvia and back home from Russia.
When do I purchase a flight?
This is a "make your own way" trip, which means you will be responsible for purchasing your own airline ticket to Latvia (arriving July 12) and back home from Russia (departing July 23). You will fly into the city of Riga, then fly back home from the city of St. Petersburg. The team will meet up at the arrival city of Riga. Do not buy a ticket yet! It is very important that you wait for us to give you the exact arrival/departure details so you don't miss the rest of the team. Otherwise, you could be on your own!
Who can join this trip?
Anyone can come along who wants to dive into mission work and enjoys the love and power of Jesus Christ spilling out to the nations! Simply follow the steps above and you're on your way!
Are there age limits?
Sometimes age limits can be waived with parental consent.
