Course Curriculum

Instructors, Calendar and Core Studies

Cana is honored to host some of the most renowned international grace speakers on our two-year roster. Doctorate level theologians and mystical contemplatives serving up an intensive schedule of life-changing, revelatory espresso!

Cana is an experiential, contemplative seminary geared to infuse a deep impartation of the Gospel of grace in an online atmosphere of joy unspeakable.
 

Course Material

Our general theme will cover the following material:

- Finished work of the Cross
- Trinitarian Theology
- New Covenant Grace
- Mystical Christianity
- Contemplative Spirituality
- Supernatural Experience

School Calendar

Cana Seminary is divided into two semesters each year. Students can purchase each semester individually or purchase the entire First or Second Year at a discounted rate. After finishing both semesters of Year One, students receive their First Year Certificate. Then after finishing both years (four full semesters) they become official graduates, receiving their Graduation Diploma.

Semester One: 16 Online Video Classes
October 23 - February 19 (includes Holiday break Dec. 19-Jan. 7)

Semester Two: 16 Online Video Classes
March 19 - July 18 (includes Holiday break June 19-July 8)

**The same dates apply for both First and Second-Year students. Both years are divided into two semesters each. Students must complete both semesters of the First Year course prior to taking the Second Year course (unless you take the Double Course Load option and take both years simultaneously)
 

Weekly Schedule

Each week the latest video teaching is unlocked for each student. They then have two weeks to watch the teaching as many times as they would like. Each week's lesson includes web links to a short exam.

Required Reading

Upon acceptance of your registration, we will email students a required reading list of six books and a  recommended reading list of 15 more books for further study. Recommended reading is not an absolute prerequisite, but suggested so as to make the most of your time during Cana.

Dr. C. Baxter Kruger 

Dr. C. Baxter Kruger is a theologian, writer and Director of Perichoresis Ministries. Baxter is a native of Prentiss, Mississippi. He and his wife Beth have been married for 25 years and have four children. Baxter has degrees in political science, psychology and earned his Doctor of Philosophy from Kings College, Aberdeen University in Aberdeen, Scotland under Professor James B. Torrance.

Baxter is the author of seven books, including The Shack Revisited, The Great Dance, Jesus and the Undoing of Adam and Across All Worlds. He has lectured across Scotland, the United States, Canada and Australia. He is an avid outdoorsman and holds two United States patents for his fishing lure designs. He is the founder and President of Mediator Lures.

Francois du Toit

Francois du Toit is a Bible translator and author of The Mirror Translation. Growing up in a missionary family, he met his wife Lydia in 1974, while working with Youth For Christ. They have four children. Francois studied Greek and Hebrew at the University of Pretoria for three years and also served with YWAM.

Working as fulltime missionaries for 14 years, they also pastored a church and led a training facility for more than 700 students over a five-year period. Only in 2004 did the du Toit’s return to ministry after spending a decade in the safari and tourism industry. Francois has written several books in both English and Afrikaans, including God Believes in You, Divine Embrace, Done! and The Mystery Revealed.

Dr. Eric Wilding

Dr. Eric Wilding is a professor at Grace Communion Seminary and founder of Wildking Ministries. He is also the Canadian regional director of Royal Family International University. 

Eric and his wife Kareena have two children. Eric studied at Toronto School of Theology, University of Toronto and University of Ottawa. Along with a deep grasp of Trinitarian theology, Eric is also known for his passion for mystical Christianity; and his ministry is marked by healings, signs and wonders – including many miracles on the streets. 

Eric is a sold-out-holy-fool-ecstatic-lover of Abba, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

Lily Crowder

Lily Crowder is a mother of four and, together with her husband John, ministers internationally as an author and speaker. Lily and John founded Sons of Thunder Ministries and Publications, a worldwide ministry focused on equipping the church in the Gospel of grace and reaching the poorest of the poor with outreaches to the impoverished and homes for orphans.

Lily is the author of Grace for the Contemplative Parent. In her practical, down-to-earth style, Lily shares a heart for families and parents to live abundantly, practicing the presence of God in their normal, everyday lives. For more info on the Crowders, visit www.thenewmystics.com.




 

Matt
Matt Spinks 

Matt Spinks is founder of the Fire House Projects, a mystical, missional community ministry launched out of Fort Wayne, Indiana USA. Centered around Jesus' Gospel and the tangible Glory of God, Matt seeks to empower Glory community, bringing heaven's culture to every day life and relationships. 

Matt and his wife Katie have two children. He speaks at various conference events, and his international endeavors include establishing a children's school in Nepal, evangelism campaigns to the poor, and speaking Grace into churches. John Crowder

John Crowder loves to push the envelope and provoke God's people to extreme joy. He is an internationally recognized author, speaker, and advocate of supernatural Christianity. John is on the forefront of a fresh renewal movement marked by ecstatic experience, miracles and recovering the foundational preaching of the cross of grace.

John hosts evangelism crusades, plants children's homes and equips the church at events worldwide. Rod Williams

 


Rod Williams heads Kainos Church, a new community that has evolved out of the former Santa Cruz Church planted by John Crowder and Benjamin Dunn in California. 


Rod has years of pastoral experience and leadership with churches and home fellowship networks. He holds a degree in theology from Pacific Coast Bible College.

Rod has a passion for equipping believers in the Gospel of grace and will be a regular contributing speaker at Cana. He will serve as senior coordinator for the campus under John.
